  • Power: It is preferred for projects not to require electrical power due to limited availability. Please inform us in advance if access to an outlet is required.
  • Liquids/Spills: Please bring a towel or tablecloth for presentations involving liquids or other substances that may spill.
  • Food: Food can be included in projects and made available to share during the evening fair (6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.), but not during school hours.
  • Prohibited Items: No live animals (presentations about animals are acceptable), chemicals, fire, or explosions.

Partner Projects

Students are welcome to work with a partner. Each partner must be individually registered for the STEAM Fair by a parent or guardian.

We look forward to another fantastic 2026 STEAM Fair!

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities:

We'll send an email next week with volunteer opportunities for the STEAM Fair.

Magic Hat Hours = Money for Our Students!

We need your help! Your volunteer hours translate directly to money for enrichment programs at the Brown School. Funds from Magic Hat are allocated based on the volunteer hours completed by school families.

All community members are welcome to volunteer, even your student, if they are 9+, and each of you will receive hours! Just head to The Magic Hat (located in the bottom of Veterans School) any time during open hours and be sure to indicate "Brown School" when you sign in!

Bonus: Volunteers also receive a shopping discount on the days they volunteer!

January Harvest of the Month

On January 15 our students will get the opportunity to taste local apples during lunch for this month's Harvest of the Month.

If you would like to volunteer to help serve, please sign-up here.

You can find more information on apples and recipes to try with your children here.

Upcoming Dates to Note:
